📚 Junibacken

Junibacken a children’s attraction which has quickly become one of Stockholm’ most-visited tourist attractions. You’ll be greeted outside by a bronze statue of world famous children’s author Astrid Lindgren. Inside you’ll experience a real treasure trove of Swedish children’s authors showcased through exhibits as well as the largest children’s bookstore in Sweden.

Undoubtably the highlight of your visit will be the “Story Train”, just hop on board and head off on an amazing journey through the magical fairy tale world of Astrid Lindgren, along the way you’ll meet all her famous characters from Mardie, Emil, Karlsson as well as many others.

Junibacken is found on the island of Djurgården and is also within very easy walking distance of Sweden's oldest and arguably best amusement park of Gröna Lund
