🐠 Baltic Sea Science Center

Located within the open air museum of Skanen you’ll also find wonderful Baltic Sea Science Center here you’ll find a set of ‘aquariums, exhibition areas, classrooms and a laboratory.’

You'll be able to discover underwater environments that range from coastal archipelagos to open oceans. Each aquarium contains different types of water, including brackish water, as well as water that's relatively high in levels of salin. Entrance is free although you must have already purchased valid Skansen tickets to have reached this point of the park.

Skansen and the Baltic Sea Science Center are both found on the island of DjurgÄrden and is also within very easy walking distance of Sweden's oldest and arguably best amusement park of Gröna Lund

Tip: There’s numerous opportunities to eat and drink well in Skansen, however if time allows it exit through the rear entrance of the park near the bear enclosure and check out Rosendals Garden Cafe.
