Gear Up and Get Out!

I’d also like to recommend you picking up a good map and a good book to help you out along the way. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases via the following links. A great book that I can really recommend is called “Vandra i Stockholm”, now whilst the book maybe printed in Swedish I do believe that this is one of the best and who knows maybe if a little translation if needed is a small task for the benefit of this great book.

This book describes 62 hikes that you can do during the day from central Stockholm. The tours vary in length from a few kilometers to over two miles. Some hikes are easy to do with light running shoes, while others may require boots and a backpack. With a few exceptions, you can get to all hikes by public transport.
